MA2 Onpc를 위한 윈도우10 설정

The MA software should run on a normal commercial computer as trouble-free as on an original MA console.

An MA console has its own hardware and a specially adapted Linux operating system in which all processes are optimized. On a regular computer with an operating system such as Windows, different rules and settings must be made to achieve the same target.

1. The computer must match with the current MA hardware specification. A 64bit operating system with at least 8GB of memory and a graphics card with at least 1GB of dedicated video memory should be used for the current grandMA2 hardware (2018).

2. Make a Windows Update to keep the computer up to date with the operating system.

3. In the Device Manager, check that all devices are detected without errors and that all devices have a current driver version.

4. You should be logged in as administrator or user with administrator rights.

5. Turn off the user account control. The changes are only activated after a restart.

6. Stop all unnecessary system Services and set them to 'Manual'. We strongly recommend that you stop Windows Firewall, Windows Defender, and the Windows Update service and set them to 'Manual'.

Other monitoring and protection programs should not be installed or activated.

7. Only the active LAN adapters should be switched on. All other LAN adapters, network bridges, Bluetooth and WLAN adapters must be deactivated.

A second LAN adapter is recommended, e.g.: with network protocols such as MA-Net2 and Art-Net.

Here's an example:

- LAN Adapter 1 for MA-Net2 = IP 192.168.0.4 with Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0

- LAN Adapter 2 for Art-Net = IP 2.168.0.4 with Subnet Mask 255.0.0.0

If no second LAN adapter is available for the Art-Net protocol, another second static Art-Net IP address can also be entered on the first LAN adapter.

8. Set the Power Options to High Performance. In the extended power setting, set all devices to a mode that they never go out or go into a resting state, e.g.: monitor, hard disk, USB devices, ...

9. Disable all messages in the Action Center. Disable the Customer Experience Improvement Program settings, Problem Report settings, and Windows Update settings in the related settings.

10. In the Notification Area Icons, turn off unnecessary system icons, icons, and notifications, such as: Hide Icon and Notifications.

11. Check which programs are loaded automatically at startup, e.g.: Run - msconfig.exe - System start - deactivate unneeded entries.

12. Do not run other programs parallel to the MA software on the same computer. Other programs can interfere with the performance and communication of the MA software.

13. Install and test the required MA software.

14. Finally, the computer should be tested for interference-free operation.

15. Under Backup and Restore, create a Windows system image or use backup software such as Acronis to create a virus-free system image. With a system image, the system can be restored to the original settings, e.g.: for rental equipment.
